Students have spent the last ten days working on a speech about the life of a Famous American. Students first researched five people they were interested in knowing about. Then, they chose the one they wanted to learn the most about. Students have chosen: Louis Armstrong, Abraham Lincoln, Beezie Madden, Jackie Robinson, Susan B. Anthony, Mary Bethune, and Derek Jeter.
The students will come dressed as that famous person and will tell their speeches in first person on Tuesday, September 14th. In the process of preparing for this speech, students were taught how to prepare a formal outline and bibliography.
