Welcome back to the 2011-2012 school year! I am delighted to be back this year to instruct the Speech and Drama classes. We have an exciting year ahead of us. There will be three 7th/8th grade plays, two 5th/6th grade plays, and Speech Contest!
In July, All Saints hosted a Speech Camp. We had a terrific time learning about famous people. Each student chose their favorite famous person. We spent time learning about each person. Then, the students dressed as their favorite person and introduced themselves to us. Some of our famous singers even performed for us! Needless to say, it was quite an experience, as you will see in the following photos!
The group performed comedic play called "The Note". Students also wrote original plays, made puppets, created puppet stages, and performed for our families and friends on the last day of camp. It was a great week!
Be looking for posts of upcoming events in the weeks to come! Mrs. Stafford
