WELCOME TO DRAMA & SPEECH 2012-2013!

Welcome back to a new, exciting year of drama and speech! We begin our school year with speech classes. Students will prepare several types of speeches, both individually and in groups, to present in front of their classes. Second quarter will be filled with "drama" and "music" for 5th/6th grades as we prepare a musical for our parents and the All Saints community to enjoy. The 7th/8th grades will choose a play to perform and select props and costumes to enhance their performances. The third quarter will bring "Speech Contest" students together in preparation of individual and duet pieces, both dramatic and humorous. Students will compete for positions on the All Saints Speech Team. In late April or early May, we will again go to the annual Diocesan Speech Contest held at Bishop Kelley. Our team has always done very well due to the hard work of these talented students. Finally, we will wrap up the school year with another 5th/6th grade musical and 7th/8th play. Play selections will be announced as decisions are made.
