The 5th/6th drama class is presenting the musical, "Jailhouse Rock," on Tuesday, May 14th. The musical is about a group of children heading off for a fun week of summer camp. When they arrive in camp, the skies open up with a torrential downpour of rain. They become stranded in the Mess Hall. As the children feel "locked up" inside, the Camp Directors and Junior Counselors teach them about Peter, Silas, and Paul's experiences being locked up and how prayer and praise does make a difference. The children learn that even though we may be confined, we are always free in our hearts because true freedom comes from being reborn in Christ.
