Welcome to Speech and Drama 2017-18!!!!!

Hello Parents and Students!

Welcome back to school!  I am excited to be back and am looking so forward to working with you this year!  Things are a little different this year.  There isn't a "Speech Contest" class first quarter as there has been in the past.  Therefore, we will be preparing for the upcoming year of tournaments after school.  The debaters will be meeting on Wednesdays from 3:35-5:00.  The speech students will be meeting on Tuesdays from 3:35-4:30.  ALL STUDENTS are welcome to participate in this--grades 4-8.

I will be copying my course syllabus for Speech I and Speech II following this brief note.  Your children have hard copies.  The most important section, in my opinion, is the communication part in the last paragraph.  PLEASE have your child call me if they are needing help with work/speeches.  My phone number is there for that reason.  I am available every day of the week from about 7:40 a.m. until school starts (except Faculty Meeting Thursdays) to assist your children.  I can help after school, as well.

Blessings to all,

Mrs. Stafford
